"Young Writers and Creators of Waterloo Region"

If you are a young person in Waterloo Region (25 and under), and you are interested in things like publishing your written works, doing a photography project, or producing videos, we may have a project for you. For example, if you would like to get a written article published online, provide original photographs, or produce a video for distribution in one of our social media accounts, here is your opportunity. We are encouraging young people to submit written pieces of between 400 and 1000 words, and if accepted we will publish your piece in our blog called "Around Waterloo Region".

Young Writers and Creators of Waterloo Region (YWCWR) - Who We Are

The "Young Writers and Creators of Waterloo Region" encourages local young people to post articles, photographs, and videos that are of interest to local Waterloo Region residents, and provides compensation where this material is used for commercial purposes.

If this sounds interesting join the YWCWR and we'll keep you informed of opportunities to publish your work and take part in upcoming projects. There is no obligation in joining, and no cost. All we need is contact information and a brief summary of your skills, interests, and how you would like to be involved.
