It gets tiring just running ads for different products, specials, free this and that and so on.
A nice variation is to turn your discounted offer, giveaway or special deal into an “event”.
What is an Event?
An “event” is just a special promotion with a catchy name and (usually) a defined time frame.
Let’s say you want to promote a new product. For example, take Gustavo Fring in Better Call Saul when he introduces their brand new “Spice Curls”.
To introduce “Spice Curls” they could just run a bunch of ads: “Introducing our awesome Spice Curls!” But that just amounts to showing a bunch of ads featuring their Spice Curls.
Spice Curl Month
Gus has a brainwave. “Let’s create “Spice Curl Month” and really make an event out of it!”
“In honour of our new Spice Curls we’re holding “Spice Curl Month”
The ads could be much the same:
– Spice Curls as a new thing to order
– Spice Curls as a side with other orders (4, 5, 6 different ones…)
– Spice Curl Gift Cards
– Buy One Spice Curl order, get another one FREE,
– etc.
So let’s say we have a Spice Curl Month.
– During Spice Curl Month Spice Curls are 50% off.
– On Mondays during Spice Curl Month Buy One Order of Spice Curls Get Another One Free.
– On Wednesdays during Spice Curl Month a Free Order of Spice Curls with Every awesome Pollos Hermanos Chicken Dinner.
– On Saturdays Buy 2 Orders of Spice Curls and Get Another One Free.
And so on…
This is a perfect way to add some spice to your promotions.
